This website features the wonderful historic home Combewood that is located in North Penrith on Coreen Avenue. Once located in a rural setting, changes in the 1960s has now placed this historic home in an industrial setting, surrounded by business and industry. Its a beacon to our past and deserves its right to still be here in the 21st Century thanks to the efforts of the Woodriff and Cox families who have lived in it.

This site has been designed and is maintained by Combewood researcher and archivist, Lorraine Stacker

Since 2020, Lorraine has been helping the Margarite Scott to research and record the hisoty of the house and the people who lived in it. Lorraine retired in 2020 as Research Librarian at Penrith City Library after 33 years with council.
